After an online petition which has been signed by over 200k people, and the Munich DA has requested access to the file, the charges have been dropped. Maybe there still is something like common sense in the world?

Apparently some other motorist ratted him out, saying that he had to brake hard because of him. Well, erm, that's what you do when you hear the sirens, you get the fuck out of the way.

That's the whole issue. When I'm driving in Germany and I hear/see the emergency vehicles, I slow down immediately. Everyone with half a brain should do this. Slow down, get the hell out of the way, and be prepared to make a full stop.
